Faced with the irreversible trend of global green energy transformation and the inevitable choice of supply chain globalization, Hystar has established its strategic overseas production base in Malaysia. At the production launch ceremony, Mr. Zhou Wen, Chairman of Hystar, stated: "The choice of Kulim, Malaysia, is based on a comprehensive assessment of global trends, locational advantages, and a superior business environment. This factory is not only Hystar's overseas manufacturing base, but also a collaborative platform for close collaboration with global customers, and a long-term commitment to the development of Malaysia's industries. Next-Gen 21700-50PS: Tabless Technology Breaks Performance Ceilings
The highlight of the event was the global debut of the INR21700-50PS, a next-generation 5.0Ah all-around Tabless cell. This release successfully elevates Tabless technology from the laboratory to intelligent mass production. By utilizing a co-developed Ni90+ high-energy cathode, a new Silicon-Carbon (SiC) fast-charging anode, and a revolutionary 3D conductive network, the cell achieves a generational leap in performance.
Its four core advantages include:
• Extreme Low Resistance & Explosive Power: Internal resistance drops to ≤3mΩ (over 70% lower than traditional cells), supporting up to 250A (50C) instant pulse discharge, perfectly matching devices requiring extreme instant power.
• Boundary-Breaking Wide Temperature Range: Delivers stable discharge in extreme environments from -40°C to 80°C.
• High-efficiency fast charging: Supports 3C rate fast charging (charges to 80% SOC in 15 minutes), eliminating power anxiety and significantly improving efficiency in industrial settings and outdoor operations.
• Ultra-long cycle life: Tested to achieve 1000 cycles under a 30A high-rate discharge, this represents more than double the cycle life compared to multi-tab batteries. It also supports 50A and 70A high-rate cycles.

Empowering All Scenarios & Co-creating a Smart Manufacturing Blueprint
Guests toured the highly automated global leading Tabless production line, highly praising Highstar’s stringent quality control and smart manufacturing capabilities. Empowered by its robust performance, the Highstar 21700-50PS cell will comprehensively cover five premium applications: high-end power tools, garden tools, industrial robots/AGVs, AIDC, and eVTOLs.
Viewing this commissioning as a new starting point, Highstar will leverage the Malaysia base as a new engine to continuously develop high-performance, cost-effective innovations, co-creating a new blueprint for the global green energy era alongside its partners.
