As a veteran player in China’s secondary battery industry, Highstar boasts a mature industrial chain. Since initiating its solid-state battery transition in early 2024, the company has established a three-tier R&D system ("hybrid liquid-solid," "quasi-solid," and "all-solid"). Leveraging proprietary nano-scale solid electrolyte technology through its partnership with WeLion New Energy, Highstar’s semi-solid-state batteries significantly outperform traditional liquid lithium batteries in safety.
Highstar's 314Ah prismatic semi-solid battery is the world's first 1kWh-class battery cell to achieve no smoke emission during a 5mm nail penetration test. It performs exceptionally well in energy storage systems, being suitable for grid-level storage, commercial and industrial storage, residential storage, data centers, computing centers, and communication base station backup power, effectively improving energy utilization rates.
